MAHLAHLE Associação Moçambicana para a promoção e o desenvolvimento das mulheres, é uma associação nacional sem fins lucrativos, oficialmente registada desde 1997, desenvolve as suas atividades na província de Inhambane, em Moçambique.
A designação "MAHLAHLE", tem a sua origem no dialeto xitsua, uma das línguas da província de Inhambane e é sinónimo de amanhecer, numa tradução literal, para as mulheres marca o início do seu dia de trabalho doméstico - buscar água, trabalhar a machamba (horta), apanhar lenha etc...
A missão da associação é a promoção do estatuto socioeconómico e cultural da mulher.
MAHLAHLE Mozambican Association for promotion and development of women, is a national non-profit association, officially registered in 1997, which develops its activities in the Inhambane province in Mozambique. It's our local partner to develop our projects in Mozambique
The name "MAHLAHLE", has its origins in the xitsua dialect, one of the languages of the Inhambane province and is synonymous with Dawn, in a literal translation, for women, it marks the beginning of the day for housework -fetching water, working the vegetable garden, gathering firewood etc.
The Mission of the Association is the promote the socio-economic and cultural status of women.
